This is only a short korero on where I come from and which side of the family I connect too.
I am teaching in Room 11 at Pt England School in Glen Innes and I have a class of Year 4 and 5 student's. We have been learning to work together and learning to respect and be kind to each other.
I have been teaching at a Middle / bi-lingual school in Otara for the last 8 years and this is the first time I have had the opportunity to teach with our primary students. I am very privileged to have Pt England School and all it's new learning tools giving and sharing with me. This is one of the philosophies of the school which I found really awesome; Learn, Create and Share.
